Paul Jonas is coordinator for Cuba and FP-trainer in the Leiden UMC. He is intrigued by the fact that the life expectancy and child mortality in Cuba equals ours. Read in Dutch the 2020 interview with Annemarie de Jong.
His experieces inspired them to make a training module on prevention & public health for the FP-trainees.
He has built up a network in Cuba Doctors & students can apply for electives there. A Focusgroup Cuba  (former-Cuba-elective students) helps students to find an elective. They also give presentations on prevention for interested local groups.
